Update by Tholy 11 years ago
"...and there's one of the few remaining Elder Survivors who goes by the name 'Dementor', previously known as Kahz'ul, Divine Warrior..."
Dementor 'earned' his current name through surviving the onslaught of Tholy, but never could tell the tale how he managed to escape.
He obviously isn't dead, it just seems his mind's blank, wiped clean. All he does now is stare in the distance mumbling these very words, over and over again: 'Dissipabis solertissimis homines aut illi coercebit tibi in perpetuum.' which roughly translates into 'Defeat the highly skilled men or they will control you forever...'
Azorius planeswalker control deck.
Control the battlefield, control your library and crush your adversaries!
In this deck, where planeswalkers cooperate to drive the spellcasters who cross your path to the verge of insanity, you steadily build to an ultimate climax while the puny spellcasters who oppose you struggle with your support party.
Not only controlling the battlefield through casting your average removal spell like Wrath of God or Swords to Plowshares, you will also quickly adapt to letting the planewalkers do their part in the battle.
Jace, Architect of Thought makes small creatures do even less in battle, with Tamiyo, the Moon Sage who takes care of anything else what's annoying, those two become a very nice pair to have on the battlefield when playing creature decks.
Gideon Jura who also keeps your enemy's attackers at bay while Karn Liberated and possibly even Jace, the Mind Sculptor if needed, can take on the bigger creatures, eventhough you really want to use Jace to disrupt your opponent or brainstorm a little.
Elspeth, Knight-Errant can build a 1/1 Soldier token or give another creature a temporary +3/+3 and flying bonus for that final blow you just needed.
Venser, the Sojourner can make your creatures unblockable or flicker a permanent to build up to that ever so nice to have emblem of his.
And finally, there's Tezzeret the Seeker, useful in many ways: searching your library when the top doesn't seem to work out for you plus adding artifacts on the battlefield, or untapping up to two artifacts for just that extra mana you needed to cast Kozilek.
With only a few of those in play, most opponents see a storm brewing and start bashing at your support party, forgetting that there's more than just planeswalkers...
With Counterbalance, Meddling Mage and Grand Abolisher you control your opponent's moves, concerning counters and stuff you don't want to see..
Kira, Great Glass-Spinner gives creatures a protective bubble so the small fry doesn't get caught in the maelstrom that is war.
Geist of Saint Traft, what is there to say? 3 mana, 6 attacking damage, 4 of which is a flying Angel.. Oh yeah, he's a hexproof legend.
Then there's the Sun Titan who can resurrect all of the above when it enters the battlefield and attacks, plus we have Elesh Norn, Grand Cenobite who makes my small fry suddenly all that small, while destroying half of the battlefield of your adversaries.
But, evidently you are going for the even bigger creatures like Blightsteel Colossus via Tinker or Kozilek, Butcher of Truth and deliver that final blow.
As if you really needed them to win the game...
'See it as a fitting end for the puny spellcasters you've made out of them by sculpting their minds like a wax statue, just like you did to Dementor..'
