Introducing the Mystery Pack, but what is a Mystery Pack? A Mystery Pack contains a random booster from the past 10 years of Magic: the Gathering sets. Vintage, Draft, Set, Play, Masters, Collector booster? Everything is possible in a Mystery Pack. Which pack you will receive with your order remains a mystery until you unpack your order.
70 different boosters have been selected for this promotion. From Khans of Tarkir (2014) to Bloomburrow (2024) and Duskmourn: House of Horror (2024). Magic: the Gathering has had many different boosters in 10 years, from the vintage (regular at the time) boosters to the Play and Collector boosters of today. Different boosters have been selected for each type, so you always have a chance to win old, special and expensive boosters.
Back in the day, there was only one type of booster. These are now called vintage boosters, such as the very appropriate Magic Origins (2015) boosters, but also the boosters from War of the Spark (2019) and Theros Beyond Death (2020)!
With Throne of Eldraine (2019) the Collector Booster was introduced. These special boosters full of special variants and rare cards are nowadays an indispensable part of the Magic landscape. Do you find a collector booster in your Mystery Pack? Then you have definitely won a jackpot!
Masters Boosters have been around for over 10 years and make a comeback every now and then. For example, there are Double Masters, Iconic Masters and Commander Masters boosters in the selection. Maybe you will discover such a cool Masters booster with your order!
Although the vintage boosters could also be drafted, a distinction was necessary with the introduction of the Set booster in Zendikar Rising (2020). From now on, the Draft boosters would be intended for playing and the Set boosters for opening boosters. With extra rare cards and special versions, the Set booster stood somewhere between a Draft booster and a Collector booster.
That brings us to the Play boosters, first introduced with Murders at Karlov Manor (2024). These boosters combine the best of the draft and set boosters, allowing you to still play with them, but also giving you a chance to earn extra rare cards and special versions of cards.
