A Booster Box contains 36 play boosters. A play booster contains 14 Magic: the Gathering cards from Aetherdrift. The composition of a play booster looks like this:

- 1 to 4 rares or mythic rares.
- 3 to 5 commons.
- 6 to 9 uncommons.
- 1 land card.
- Always one foil card.
- 1 art card, token or advertising card.

In a play booster you always get at least one rare and always one foil card. Furthermore, in one out of seven boosters you will find not a rare but a mythic rare! In some boosters the common is replaced by a rare Special Guest card with beautiful borderless artwork. In addition, play boosters contain two wildcard slots, one foil and one non-foil.
