Before you read this messy explanation of what the deck does below i would like to say something about a budget way to build this deck. Buy the preconstructed deck. After that its not hard to improve it by adding at the very least Poppet Stitcher, blood artist, zulaport cutthroat, viscera seer and carrion feeder. They are the cards that win you games and poppet stitcher may be expensive (currently 15 euro) but its worth every euro. For budget card draw i recommend getting Distant Melody, pact of the serpent and Liliana's standard bearer. Inexpensive but amazing at what they do. I hope you’ll have as much fun with this deck as i have!
Personally i dont have phyrexian altar cuz its too expensive for me but it would do great with gravecrawler and diregraf captain. The point of the deck is to sacrifice your zombies to wilhelt to draw into more zombies while dealing damage through Blood Artist and similar cards. Poppet Stitcher and Wilhelt and a sac outlet go infinite, if you have a blood artist out thats gg. Anyway the whole point is sacrificing zombies for cards and damage and eventually either combo off or swarm your opponents with zombies. Zombies that give others +1/+1 arent very good in this deck, trust me i’ve tried. Whip of erebos is in there to compensate for the life lost to drawing cards cuz many of the card draw effects in this deck damage you. This deck is completely ridiculous in a 1v1 and is very good with 3 or more players because of its ability to crowd the board very quickly. Might have to take some early game hits to keep a key piece alive like undead augur or wilhelt but after a few turns you’ll be untouchable. Zombie master and hordewing skaab grant some evasion for easier attacks and death baron makes your blocks very good.
