We can't just order cards from a distributor. Therefore it is near impossible to have all the cards in stock always. Of course we try to offer as wide a range as possible. However we are very much depended on the market for these cards and the individuals selling them to us.

To be fair to them, this is a relatively old card that has only been reprinted in the list / mystery booster, which agruably didn't add many copies of this card to the supply. Also, this card has a bit of commander jank potential... I think it's not abnormal for them to only have this in stock in the foil version.
